Your biomass does not meet the eligibility criteria
Carbonsate’s current methodology focuses on woody biomass because it has more predictable long-term carbon storage behavior and fits the material assumptions of the process. Non-woody feedstocks (like straw, grasses, leaves, algae) fall outside that scope and are therefore not eligible right now.

Your biomass does not meet the eligibility criteria
If the material isn’t from a woody plant with a hard stem, it likely behaves more like non-woody biomass (faster decomposition / different properties) and no longer matches the criteria the project is designed for. That’s why answering “No” is an exclusion under the current eligibility rules.

Not sure this applies in your case? Share your email below and we’ll take a quick look.

Your biomass does not meet the eligibility criteria
Chemically treated biomass can contain additives or contaminants that affect safety, processing, and compliance. Because Carbonsate’s current approach relies on untreated material assumptions, treated biomass is excluded for now.

If you have more context (e.g., type of treatment), leave your email below and we’ll follow up.

Your biomass does not meet the eligibility criteria
If the biomass is already regularly sold as a primary product, it’s considered part of an existing supply chain rather than a waste or underutilized stream. That typically doesn’t meet the “additionality” and baseline criteria Carbonsate applies.
