Local ecosystems. Local partners. Permanent removal.
Carbonsate operates biomass storage projects across three continents, each rooted in local ecosystems, local partners, and local needs. Every project generates verified carbon credits while creating value for the communities and landscapes where we work.

Regenerating the savanna
In Namibia, invasive bush encroachment degrades millions of hectares of farmland. We work with local communities to collect cleared biomass and store it permanently - turning an ecological problem into a climate solution.

From sawmill waste to
solar-powered storage
In Cameroon, wood residues from a local sawmill are stored for permanent carbon removal. Solar panels installed on top of the storage site provide reliable electricity to the surrounding village, combining climate impact with energy access.

From reforestation to permanent storage
In Vichada, Colombia, acacia trees planted to regenerate degraded land have now served their purpose and must be removed to make way for native forest. Instead of burning the trees and releasing their stored carbon, we capture it permanently through biomass storage.

Turning industrial scars into carbon sinks
In Pernik, Bulgaria, forest residues from wildfires are used to fill open-pit mines left behind by decades of heavy industry, regenerating the landscape while generating affordable European carbon removal credits.
